Podcast Pick-Up

I get the same question all the time: "Where do you find your new music?" and a majority of the time,  it's from podcasts.

Today I'm going to feature my top five (in no particular order) favourite podcasts.

5. The Nightowls - Big Hooters
Jeff Webb and Mark Beshai, aka "The Nightowls", reside in Toronto, Canada. They host a bi-weekly podcast featuring upcoming producers, and music from their label "Parliament House". If you're looking for some quality late night vibes, or are a tech house lover - this podcast is for you.

4. Spinnin' Sessions
Released weekly out of Miami, Spinnin' Sessions features unreleased tunes, exclusives, and a half hour guest mix from some of the biggest producers in EDM today.

3. TRC Sessions
TRC (Toronto Rave Community) Sessions, released every Wednesday, brings to light some of the GTA's best talent. The one hour(ish) podcast features producers from around the Toronto area, as well as incoming artists touring throughout the city.

2. Mixmag (Mixmag Lab & Feature Mixes)
Coming from the makers of the World's top selling dance music magazine, the Mixmag Lab features weekly mixed sets from some of the biggest names around the world. In addition to the Mixmag Lab, Mixmag features a variety of feature mixes and live sets. If you love dance music, you'll feel like a kid in a candy store when you hit their Soundcloud.

1. Will Sparks - Lets Bounce
At the forefront of the Melbourne Bounce sound is Will Sparks. Just 21, Will Sparks is one of the fastest rising stars in the game right now, being featured at some of the biggest festivals and starting on a 50 show North American tour. The monthly podcast is full of countless dance-floor-destroying tunes, often accompanied by a 30 minute guest mix.
