Laidback Luke & Angger Dimas - Beat Of The Drum Feat. Mina

Getting it's first World Wide play on Mixmash radio, Laidback Luke & Angger Dimas bring us their newest track on the newly emerging Jungle genre: "Beat of the Drum". Building on the established foundation of big room sound, this track oozes classic Laidback Luke style. With its simplistic vocals and banging beat, this tune will be all over festival main stage set lists in the coming summer months.

What do you think of Laidback Luke's new tune? Let me know in the comments below.

Audio Caffeine: The Wake-Up Shake-Up

Closing in on the end of the semester there seem to be endless late nights followed by unapologetic early mornings. So when I pull myself out of bed to do it all again the next day, sometimes I need more than Nutella and toast. Here are a few tunes that get me started in the morning, my sonic cups of coffee.

MAKJ - Up To No Good (MAKJ Booty Remix)

Lazy Rich & Hot Mouth - BONK!

Dansson & Marlon Hoffstadt - Shake That (Tom Staar Remix)

What tunes get you going? Let me know in the comments below.

Dada Life Delight

Last night I had the pleasure of going bananas at the Dada Compound in Toronto. The show took over the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, bringing out thousands of fans from across Ontario. Providing the sounds for the Compound were Henry Fong, Ilan Bluestone, MAKJ, and of course Dada Life.

The Stated Rules For Attendees of the Dada Compound

This was the first time I had been to a MAKJ performance after being a fan for a very long time, and I was not disappointed. From start to finish, his set had the dance floor bouncing from front to back. Give him a listen down below.

From banana suits to the entire crowd participating in one big pillow fight - the show did not disappoint. Dada Life not only brought the high energy, base-banging setlist, but had one of the best lighting displays I have ever seen. If you ever get the opportunity to experience Dada Life, I highly recommend it - it's and experience I won't soon forget.

Touched Up Tuesday

Sometimes life throws you a challenge. Sometimes life opens up the challenge flood gates and gives you all it's got. Having gone through what felt like round after round of an emotional boxing match the last few weeks, I wanted to share a few tunes that really hit home.

Electronic music touches people in unique ways; makes some people dance, some people cry, or even gives an opportunity for few moments to get away from the stresses of the day. It might be the beat, maybe the melody, or even the vocals. These tunes have been played more than a few times over the last little while, enjoy.

London Grammar - Hey Now (Arty Remix)

Above & Beyond Feat. ZoĆ« Johnston - We're All We Need

VILLAGE - Takeover

ODESZA - All We Need Feat. Shy Girls (Autograf Remix)

Paul Kalkbrenner - Azure

Things always get better. Always.
